Some of my most rewarding work has been creating portraits of cherished pets which, of course, started with paintings of my own beloved dog!  The playful, mischievous, or soulful expressions of our furry companions delight us.  Capturing those expressions with my paintbrush brings me, and those I am creating for, much joy.
